NEW TREATMENT ALERT
PlasmaPRO
CosmoPRO’s leading skin-tightening treatment, currently taking the aesthetics industry by storm! Whether you hunger for your once-youthful looks or simply want to look fresher, with fewer smile lines and wrinkles, PlasmaPRO can deliver outstanding results that will leave friends and colleagues wondering whether you’ve gone under the knife. Offering unparalleled results, this pioneering, non-invasive treatment is as close to surgery as it gets, all without leaving the comfort of your chosen salon or clinic. So how does it work?
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A TREATMENT?
After a thorough consultation, you will return to the clinic for a treatment. Your practitioner will apply soothing cream to the treatment area. He or she will use the PlasmaPRO Precision Pen close to the chosen area to be treated. Once the probe is a few millimetres from the skin, a tiny plasma flash is emitted, causing the skin to shrink back. This process, called ‘sublimation’, is performed tens or hundreds of times depending upon the size of the treatment area. Immediately after, and for a number of weeks following the treatment, the skin is flooded with plasma and collagen, as the body seeks to repair and rejuvenate from within.
HOW SOON WILL I SEE RESULTS?
The results are visible immediately, as you can see from the gallery page; however, the final result will take around twelve weeks to see. Patients are advised that the skin will undergo many changes during the healing process; therefore, please be patient and wait until the three-month mark for a true result.
HOW MUCH DOWNTIME WILL I NEED?
As this treatment involves causing controlled micro-trauma to the skin, you should expect some swelling, redness and tenderness for between 3-5 days following the treatment. The small treatment ‘dots’ will scab and fall off after around 5-7 days, and we advise you to avoid wearing make-up on the treated area during this time (other than the tinted healing balm your practitioner will give you).
WILL IT HURT?
PlasmaPRO practitioners are trained to ensure your maximum comfort during a treatment, and will apply a soothing balm to the treatment area. Most patients experience little to no pain whatsoever.
HOW LONG WILL THE TREATMENT LAST?
The actual session can take as little as half an hour, depending on the size of the areas to be treated. Those looking for a more dramatic result may require more than one session; however you will be advised on such by your practitioner prior to treatment. Once healed, the result can last for anywhere between two and five years. Those who follow the aftercare procedure properly – i.e. don’t get the area wet for at least five days, don’t pick the microdots, wear a facial sunblock (etc.) will obtain longer-lasting results than those who don’t. Aftercare really is the key to success in plasma skin-tightening.
WHO WILL PERFORM MY TREATMENT?
All of our practitioners are trained to a very high standard and have a proven clinic-based background. The vast majority of our delegates are medics – i.e. doctors, nurses, dentists and surgeons. A chosen few, who have been hand-selected based upon their commitment, success and experience in the SPMU/laser field have been permitted to undertake training with us following vetting. Given the skill required to perform a safe plasma treatment and the knowledge/experience required in BBV (blood-borne virus prevention), anatomy & physiology, skin conditions/medical contraindications and first aid, we don’t believe that plasma training should be open to everyone.
IS IT SAFE?
Our German-manufactured device consists of a precision probe, which emits a single plasma flash when the disposable tip comes within millimetres of the skin. If the probe comes too close to the skin, the machine will cut out automatically. Further, unlike the machines of old, which used to leave 1-2mm sized carbon ‘dots’ on the skin, the PlasmaPRO Precision Pen tip is, to the best of our knowledge and research, one of the finest on the market. This ensures that just enough current is used to create an outstanding result. This is known as the minimum effective dose (MED) – i.e. the least amount of current required to create an optimum result.

I am passionate about my work & I get great satisfaction when clients are over the moon with their treatments.
A permanent makeup treatment can instil so much confidence for someone & that is of great importance to me.
I am always updating my skills with constant training & re-educating myself on the latest techniques.

FAQ:
How can permanent cosmetics benefit me?
There are a variety of reasons why people get permanent cosmetics. Many people want to save the hassle of applying make-up everyday. Others want to change or enhance their looks.
Sports enthusiasts and those of us who have very active jobs will opt for permanent cosmetics as they are often unable to wear conventional make-up, also, there are people who need feature correction, people with allergies to make-up, alopecia sufferers, those with vision impairment who have difficulty applying makeup, all benefit from permanent cosmetics.
All of these people can benefit from permanent cosmetics.
Will it hurt?
Although permanent cosmetics and medical tattooing are a form of tattooing, the pain factor is considered to be less pronounced as the treatments are gentler and less invasive.
What will I look like straight after the treatment?
Brow and eye treatments tend to look darker in colour immediately after the appointment, while lip colours can look more intense. This softens in a few days. Lips are likely to have some residual swelling and can chap. There may be some slight swelling after eyeliner treatments but this is usually limited.
How quickly will it heal?
Everyone is different, but as a general rule the surface skin generally heals between 3-7 days after the treatment, and 10-14 days below the surface. Many people will return to work the same day after a treatment, however, we don’t advise driving after a eyeliner / lash enhancement, in case your eyes are a little swollen or watery immediately after the treatment.
How long will it last?
This varies from person to person because skin type, diet, genetics and environmental factors can all contribute to how long the pigments will be retained.
As a guide, it could be anything between one to five years before a new treatment is required, although refresher colour boosts are recommended for maintenance during this time. Once the colour starts to change you will know that you are ready for your refresher colour boost. It is important to remember that permanent make-up is a “low” -not a “no” -maintenance treatment.
